this is the author and, to be honest, he disgusts me
Amazon basically says they wont remove it because they don't have to
saying they wont censor their products
yet last year they removed a game where the player ran around raping mothers and their children plus they removed hundreds of negative comments on the book itself
this isn't the only smut they sell uranium and a guide book for white supremacists among several other things
I, for one am tired of Amazon.com carelessly distributing merchandise that enables crimes and harming others
until they decide to take full responsibility for their actions and the goods they sell I will no longer give them or their affiliates my business

house work, school work, baby work, work out...

sorry for not posting recently I've been trying to hone my house working skills while maintaining my school work and Max's growing changes and boy is he changing!!

He is now an expert at rolling he will roll all over the bed and if I lay him down he's flipped over by the time I stand up
I cannot believe he will be 4 months on Saturday!
I am getting so excited for the holidays
my mom is coming next week then we're going to NC for Thanksgiving and of course Christmas is right around the corner...
as my hips and legs grow wider and wider I think more and more about some sort of weight loss routine I just haven't gotten the drive to get up and do it
however the latest magazine I got in has some handy tips so I may tack them up and get busy

anywho I had better scoot

sleepless

I NEED SLEEP!!!!!!!

I hope Max receives that message soon...
All day today he has been fighting naps. He will doze off in my arms but as soon as I get up to lay him down he's wide awake and smiling : /
So I tried holding him through his nap and staying perfectly still... no luck.
So now it is 3:24 am and he has been awake for the last 13 hrs... oh and I should add, not just awake but laughing and playing and talking and otherwise making sure I got nothing done

so... I'm grumpy today... the dogs are grating on my nerves... Max is boycotting sleep... my computer wouldn't open my textbook (it's an online version) so I wasn't able to properly complete my assignment... and I'm just pretty much at the end of my rope

updates

I feel as if I haven't been a very good blogger as of late...
my mind has been wandering quite a bit with school and Max and Tony
my house is a complete wreck, we have laundry piled everywhere along with junk mail... it stresses me out
but I cannot seem to find the time to fix it
my sleeping schedule has been all out of whack so I spend most of my day trying to squeeze in a nap and all night trying to be quiet so as not to wake up the boys...
on a different note, Max had his first visit to the grand children house
he really enjoyed it and it was good to see my family

I really hope Max is able to grow up with the same memories of playing there that I did, it's such a magical place

Max and I reading Granny's sign that I believe Aunt Chris bought her, behind you can see the rock wall my Pawpaw lovingly built

Unfortunately, I don't know if that will be the case, Granny is having a hard time with Pawpaw's passing and understandably so, they where married for 65 years when he passed
I hope time will ease her pain, and I wish there was something I could do to help her
she did seem to enjoy seeing Max though, and he turned on the charm for her
I cannot lie, it was bitter sweet without Pawpaw there too
I will be sure to pass on his stories to Max when he gets older
anyway, that's a pretty dark subject let's move on
Max is now 3 months old
I cannot believe it has already been 3 months (I know I say that every month : D) our breastfeeding relationship is going wonderfully and word on the street is that if you can make it for 3 you're good to go so woot woot!
I don't really know what else to say... as I said earlier my brain is in a fog right now so... leave me some feedback maybe?
I'd like some input on what people want to see here and maybe some more followers? link me up I could use it :)

girl's night out

well I had my first official girl's night out yesterday and let me tell you, it was a blast!
no husband's, no kids, no worries just girl talk and silliness and good food
I have always heard that the best solution for parents having a night for themselves but you never really understand until you have one
I always thought it was sort of bad to leave your child with someone else to run away and have fun but it's sooooo good! lol
Max enjoyed getting to go see his cousins, they enjoyed spoiling him
and I enjoyed eating a meal and gossiping without pausing to baby talk
we didn't do much this time because I had to get back pretty quickly but next month momma is coming down and she's anxious to catch up on her Mammaw time so I will give her all of the time she wants :)
anyway, thanks girls for a fun time and thanks Sarah, Kelley, Jon, and Holly for babysitting
